Index 52 and SSSJ Chapter 01

So I’ve got two releases today, one Index – which was quite late, next one should be faster –
and the first chapter of a new project, gloriously named ‘Sekai Seifuku Sekirara Jogakukan’.

BU says: Fumizuki Mai just recently moved into town and is starting her new life at school. She soon realizes that the curriculum is really weird, consisting of body fitness classes, undressing classes and extreme combat training. Mai soon realizes that her school is really a location for girls to become the most incredible women on Earth. She meets four girls who are weird but nice in their own way but their craziness and the ridiculous classes just might make Mai go crazy.

And it has lovely yuri.

Narue no Sekai Chapter 88

We’re finally there. The end of volume 12 – and this is currently the last volume so we’ve ‘caught up’ I guess.
About volume 13 coming any time soon: Doesn’t look like it, since the author has been on hiatus since just about when volume 12 hit the shelves and apparently he still is… -If you’ve got any info, do share-

A lot of thanks go to Nirpan, who probably spend a mindboggling lot of time fighting with weird sci-fi terms these 11 (most of vol 1 was done by another group) volumes.

Let’s hope the author gets well soon.

Index was done for a while but now it’s been send to rice for QC, so that shouldn’t take too long.

Narue no Sekai chapter 86

So. Just in time for this issue, a new proofreader joined us, by the name CatWEax.
Not only did Narue actually get a good proof for that, all the shoddy things such as full stops in a vertical sentence and weird hyphens were also fixed for once.


That ‘Divine pillar’ may save mankind and all, but any lines connected to it give us a lot of headaches.
Special thanks to Ai and Clay for those two weird bubbles.

Ajikko 25 & Index 51

Been a while, been too long.
Have not been doing nothing mind you. Gwarg.
Editor recruits are always welcome. My free time keeps decreasing so releases are not likely to speed up any time soon…
First off, congrats to all recent Nobel prize winners. I think this year selection so far is pretty good. The Chemistry guys really deserved it, what they did really was amazing. (Except for literature. Nothing against Mo Yan but his works… Nobel prize level? Hmmmmm. I could name better candidates. But I won’t. I shan’t. Well the guy is a good writer. I guess he did earn it, if those so called experts say so. Who am I to doubt their decision? What do I know of literature? I’m just a stupid reader. They studied it. What a waste of time, studying literature.)


This painting is from Georges Seurat. Recently our city museum went back open again and I was disappointed to see that their… ‘collection’ took on a new ‘turn’. Let’s leave it at that. At least Seurat painted good things. Why Seurat, and why this painting, one might ask? Well recently some ‘artist’ got a funding for his art project that ‘decorated’ my street for a few weeks. He took a print of this painting and completely ruined the picture by editing it.I shall never forgive the guy. And yes I know, a lot of quotation marks. You are allowed to kick me. Once. Softly.

Narue no Sekai Chapter 85

A revived enemy slaughtered once more,
While the war rages on at the front.
And no less fierce is the struggle of words
Between those with power at the mother ship.

Bonds reforged and chains fractured,
Brave souls ready for depart.
Barely keeping themselves whole
It does not matter to them no more.

Also, as the keen reader may have noticed, our proofer position on Narue, which was first always occupied by the mighty Vegaobscura, has been either vacant or taken in by me. (Rest assured, even if it’s vacant I always read it trough)
That said, I am no real proofer. English is not my native language and, as yet again, the keen native english reader might notice, some parts of the script could use some work. Vega has taken a dislike to the series ever since the complete genre shift (I still think that this genre shift was a good thing), in other words we need a proofer for Narue. Preferably someone who can brew good stuff from the weird sci-fi stuff that we get around. Yeah there’s not that much chapters left of Narue right now, I know. But still… Untill that time I (and the ones that I bother with questions) will do what we can. Interested? Apply at the forums.

TL;DR: We need a proofer for Narue. Are you up for the task? Apply at the forums.

Another thing. While nothing else was released this week I did actually work on stuff as much as I could afford to timewise. (actually even a little more then that). So yeah, some things are brewing (Bobobo for example- My part there is done but my comrade in arms is a bit busy as well)
Index is done from our side (but will suffer a little delay, special circumstances. Expect it in 12 days. Exactly 12 days.)
And I’ll start Narue tomorrow, wasn’t able to start on it till now. It’ll get done whenever it gets done, sorry folks.
Low res railgun raws have been sighted but I’m waiting for better ones to show up. They hopefully will.
Good news for Kutsuzure (although I don’t think any of the fans will actually be reading this but oh well) we might get volume raws soon, thus allowing us to continue it. Might I said. Might.
I… think that’s about all I had to say. Yeah it probably was more then I wanted to say. It definitely was.
